One question we’re most commonly asked is how to effectively clean the pads. Both the Invader V2 and V3 are equipped with DarkMatter™, a highly specialized, military grade polymer specifically formulated to achieve a feel and articulation like no other practice implement out there.
The main difference in DarkMatter™ in relation to standard Gum Rubber or similarly glued surfaces, is that it is actually applied in liquid form, forging a molecular bond with the rest of the device. The unit is then allowed to cure over a specific duration, presenting the signature glossy, highly non-slip/grippy surface when complete.

Like any high performance creation, which in our case is subjected to long-term percussive rigors while in use, it requires care to insure a lifetime of performance excellence. The INVADER series pads come with a generous coating of Turtle Wax F21 Super Auto Interior Protectant pre-applied to the topside playing surface, right out of the box. We highly recommend the application of this formula to clean, slick-up, "season” and extend the durability and overall life of the device. We advise regular use of this or a similar auto interior protectant formula (Armor All Ultra Shine) on a weekly basis, or any time your V2/V3 begins to exhibit a more tacky, less than shiny and sleek playing surface. Also, to lessen the non-slip effect of the bottom side surface, simply apply the same formula to taste. A bottle of this formula will be included free of charge with every V3 purchase on orders placed past 6.26.09.
