The V3 has arrived... many people have tried, but OffWorld brought it home. A pad that actually has the feel of an actual rudimental snare. NO BEADS NEEDED!!!! It’s great at the edge, center and you gotta love that rim. This pad has truly revolutionized the game. The V3 is the answer for achieving that Quality of sound needed in today’s arena, whether it be outside in the stadium or the indoor scene..... Thanks Guys

Second, the feel! I LOVE the gum rubber pad for its old school feel, and
rebound. It's like playing on mylar! You GOTTA make sure people have the
option of gum rubber. I LOVE the feel on my hands, and the feel of it on mylap. Very solid, substantial pad. The Invader black surfaced pad is incredibly articulate, and has a very satisfying "Tonk" to the sound!!
Third, the sound! The pad is very articulate, both the gum rubber and black space-suit material (I don't know what you call it). Great for working hand-to-hand balance, and it's loud enough to actually hear yourself. I'd love to use these in a sectional type situations with the Colts snare line! Great for bus practice, where everyone needs to be able to hear each other. The rim is the business! Now, a modern rudimental pad that actually allowsyou to do rim shots!! (Why didn't someone think of this before??)
In short, I believe this is the pad that most everyone will be using within the next year or so.. There are other GREAT pads out on the market, but this thing is the TRUTH!!!!! 2 big thumbs up!!!!! I can't wait to get my hands on the new Invader V.3!!!! I hope the Colts get to use these this summer during their '09 summer tour! The kids WILL love them!!

It is an aesthetically wonderful looking pad and virtually indestructible. The students in my band and percussion program have used the same set of Invader practice pads for over a year and they still look incredible--from the abuse of my beginning percussionists to the day to day "chop outs" from my high school students.
The pad fits comfortably inside a 14" snare drum or perfectly on either side in a snare stand basket.
The "rim" offers life-like snare practice and feel, offering true simulation of snare drum playing--no need to alter technique or approach. It's also great for practicing cross sticking rhythms.
Finally, the pad just sounds great! PERIOD! At varied dynamic levels, this pad is the most articulate pad I have ever played!

The Invader feels just like playing on a real drum. Before, when I would work on technique on a pad, I would have to change when I played on a drum. Now, with the Invader, any and all work I do on a pad can translate directly to the drum, even with nylon-tipped sticks!
Pad hands be gone with the hottest thing to hit the drum scene since flam drags!

I absolutely love that you can here every note from even the lowest dynamic and you can really get an audible "reality check" on your rhythmic quality and sound quality that is rarely heard on other pads. It is the first pad that you can actually work on your pianissimo buzz roll quality. And when you play with others with the Invader pad, you know for sure if you are playing together.

Sounds great, looks killer, has a rim, and fits perfectly on your drum... what more can you ask for! "
